Sunday Times & C4 due to drop a big story [Russell Brand]
Discussion
Twitter posters are reporting that Sunday Times are dropping a big story, and Channel 4 Dispatches have got a 3 pm slot tomorrow, suggesting they also have something significant to say.
Given the recent scandal and outrage coming from UK gov, GB News presenters, and ex PMs that barely raise Mainstream Media eyebrows any more, I'm hard pushed to think what this could actually be about.
I'm desperately hoping this is the end of the super injunction and we find out who Johnson's HOL appointments really are, that brings down the whole government, but I suspect it may just be the outing of one of this year's Strictly contestants.

Mod edit to add (Russell Brand) to thread title
So, it appears that Russell Brand is strongly rejecting claims from a newspaper, (Sunday Times?) and a TV channel/show (C4 Dispatches?), this was reported on the radio this morning.
If this (plus other individuals it may seem) is the subject of a joint media exposé, I am wondering about the timing and the subject matter.
We've some pretty messy stories in government that ought to receive proper media examination, plus we've had the story about Dan Wooton's activities implicating the Mail, Sun and GB News that generated barely a ripple.
Yet the media went mad about Philip Schofield, Huw Edwards, and possibly this one too. This one of course could be a story off the scale, rocking society's foundations, but it does feel a bit misplaced given what we are seeing at higher levels, and a distraction tactic. We shall see....

I’d bet money on the fact everyone backing him here is an older white male outdated views, victim blaming, all things we see endlessly from this group of people.
fk this guy. He was a in my eyes from day dot. This will just be the beginning of the tidal wave of women that come forwards.
Bev Turner seems to be one of them, so all not old gammons. Saying that, any employee of GB News is not right in the head.fk this guy. He was a in my eyes from day dot. This will just be the beginning of the tidal wave of women that come forwards.
Still thinking "why Brand, why now?" Surely we all knew he was probably the easiest celeb to out, yet we have two major news outlets running the investigation.

Brand is a tt.
Always has been right from his MTV days, which if you do a search, will bring up some 'interesting' stories about his career at the station, and his touring of nightclubs.
Which to me makes this whole investigation, that seems to be claiming is " the result of an exhaustive and detailed investigation over 4 years" against an individual so openly promiscuous, that it cannot have been hard to find victims following a few public rumours. Shooting a big fish in a barrel perhaps.Always has been right from his MTV days, which if you do a search, will bring up some 'interesting' stories about his career at the station, and his touring of nightclubs.
Not that I am in any way trying to trivialise rape or sexual assault, and deflect or deny what Brand has been accused of, (and I am of no doubt there is much more than a grain of truth in these accusations) but why aren't the media doing rhe really hard stuff? There seems to be a huge government corruption issue at the moment, not a peep of that!
