Balanced Question Time panel tonight - of course not!
Discussion
Tonight's panel:
Francis Maude - Tory - Cabinet Office Minister
Andy Burnham - Labour - leadership candidate, former health minister and mascara wearer
Sally Bercow - Labour, failed to get elected as a councillor, married to the nominally Tory, but clearly Labour-leaning Speaker of the HoC
George Galloway, former Labour MP, former Respect MP, fraudster (alleged ), reality TV cat
Nick Ferrari - flakey right wing broadcaster.
Well, the carefully selected leftie audience will approve of the panel anyway.

Yes, at least Galloway comes across as sincere.

And just how would you like it to be balanced?
5 right wing MPs/comentators, or perhaps just 4?
Daft comment.5 right wing MPs/comentators, or perhaps just 4?
Oh fear, I'm watching this now. What on Earth is Russell Brand doing on the programme? He may have some skill at entertainment, but he is a moron.
Melanie Phillips hasn't yet been offensive, but no doubt she will soon kick off.
Best moment so far was Boris posing the rhetorical question, should Gordon Brown go to jail, which received a resounding "yes" from the audience. I think there is at least an arguable case that he was guilty of misfeasance.

Saw her last time she was on just after becoming an MEP. I quite like her in that she looks a bit fighty and could liven up QT with a punch up or slagging match, like a post-pub Saturday night drunken woman fight. But yes, they all tend to be a bit st and little to say.
60% chance she actually finishes the logical progression of her 'Local X/Y/Z for Local People' theme rant and comes out with "Local Shops for Local People" before the end of QT?Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
