We are on the brink of financial disaster - this is a disaster. All of the outers will get their wish, total financial meltdown
Oh silly silly little Englanders who had no true understanding of the consequences of their actions. I hope they are pleased
The fact the eu was about to collapse on its arse is irrelevant no Oh silly silly little Englanders who had no true understanding of the consequences of their actions. I hope they are pleased

If anyone is going on holiday soon - anywhere outside of uk- your holiday just got about 20 percent more expensive
There is going to be a lot of volatility in the short term. I'd ignore the 10% drops today and see where we are in a couple of weeks.
The market was caught out on the wrong side. Somebody has lost a LOT of money on this. Somebody else has also made a packet.
Whenever the market is caught out there is panic. I suspect it'll stabilise around the 1.40 ish mark. Down from the 1.50 earlier before Brexit, but not as low as now. My gut feeling is that it will then climb slowly, but it will be very dependant on everyone not predicting doomsday, as markets follow sentiment far too much.

It seems the turkeys have voted for Christmas.
One huge question is the future of the "United" Kingdom,
One huge question is the future of the "United" Kingdom,
- Northern Ireland voted remain and has a land border with an EU state. United Ireland?
- Scotland voted remain and has already been rocking the boat. Independent Scotland?
- London, driver of the UK economy for 30 years, voted remain.
- People under 30 - Britain's future - voted remain

You're right, but there will be a lot of pain, and I don't believe the "night is darkest before the dawn" rhetoric on this one. There will be many UK companies that go to the wall over this. The market was caught out on the wrong side. Somebody has lost a LOT of money on this. Somebody else has also made a packet.
