Acc funds welll...not accruing?!
Discussion
I own a number of Accumulation type funds that pay a dividend. Lets take a simple example of one. Invesco Perp Income Acc. Now this is a growth and yield type fund, and the yield/dividend should be reinvested to increase my number of units right? Worryingly, for some reason my online platform/broker is displaying that I own the same number of units as I originally purchased years ago. And there is absolutely no record of any dividend being paid or reinvested. Am i missing something?!

The number of units will stay the same but the price of each unit will increase to reflect the income being reinvested.
for the OP's specific example, the acc units are currently 8.95 , while the inc units are 4.63 - the difference in price is the accumulated dividends, and the compounded return on those.sidicks said:

Agreed and this is a gradual increase in the price - not a one off increase on the dividend pay date. You should get a dividend tax voucher on the pay date which reflects the income accrued in the period. It's effectively a non-cash dividend.
