What does your house look like?

Which would immediately make one think ' Ooh, No 27's got something to hide. Or some good stuff. Worth casing that place'.
The way it works is that basically the image jumps past your house. It looks very much like there is a problem with the images. If your property is in shot behind another it is blurry.Yes, there is a risk that if a baddy knows your property is there they may think you have something to hide that is worth nicking. But then again if they are just browsing Street view they may never even spot it is there.
The benefits of removing one's house, in my view, outweigh the potential negatives. For example, it stops people making judgements about what I might or might not be able to afford, if they are doing some nosing and if they have my address. And yes, this has happened plenty of times.

Just waiting for the plans to come through to get the renovation project going but here it is. Build thread up soon I hope.
Is it on it's own island ?I've always wanted an island, regardless it's great - even just with a tent on it !
We also didn't realise when we bought it that a large part of the lake came with it. I can't swim though.

so why don't BT just offer to move the box next the the other one.
Then everyone wins. Better access, Old giffer gains £78k value on his house. BT won't park in front of his house again. BT can upgrade to their hearts content.

It's a Peninsula but has a long narrow lane to access it. So if we were to enter a Zombie apocalypse type scenario, it's pretty much perfect.bigbob77 said:
So... is everyone here just OK with any random person on the internet knowing exactly where they live and what they drive, and being able to trawl through their other posts to see when they're away on holiday or what hours the house is empty.... ?
Some lovely houses on here, but it can't be good for security, surely?
A photo of a house does not indicate where it is. People can walk past and see my place or see it on Google maps. If you rob my house its all replaceable, photos are the only things im worried about and they are backed up remotely. Some lovely houses on here, but it can't be good for security, surely?
