I have several commissioned bits of art.

The two below I showed the artist the space it was to be placed in and said surprise me.

Referred to by the OH as hell on canvas:

The second one certainly did.

Have some more lying around as well as this one thats not hung up yet:

That was indeed the influence! smile

Up close is fairly industrial, as it was literally made on the shop floor of his GRP factory.

Naturally it is banned from the house wink

I have 2 original Guy Denning oils at home.

Very dark, quite disturbing images.

I will probably buy more of his work.

I have this in the entrance hall, original oil from an artist in London which I had painted for my then g/f (now wife) as she loves everything AH.

This is in the stairwell, it's of our son when he was on his first hol abroad. Taken by me and transferred onto canvas.

And this, mrs a.c.e had this painted by a local artist a coupe of years back for my Christmas present. Its above the fireplace in the boys playroom.

We ave a few others, but are generic prints.

Thaught I would try and get this going again, I don't have many as it's my first place so alot are cheap 'replicas' but some are original.

Set of antlers and a nice art/car poster in the front room

This painting by an unknown artist that parents got in an auction for about £7, know nothing about him but like to make a back story for him. So far we say he is some kind of Polish spy or detective

This in the dining room, framed by old man. Picture of my grandpa, his ship and a few of his meddles from WW2

And this above the stairs, a limited edition of 125.

These are not on my wall yet. but when I find some nice frames ,they will go on the wall. They ere done by an old chap with Alzhiemers in the hospital where wifey works. Apparently they are of the boatyard he worked in and the boats he used to build.

I'd agree with that. If you've got a website, Nick, I'd be interested in having a browse now and then (feel free to PM me a link if you wish).
