You owe it your legions of internet fans to remove the existing sheds in your traditional way, and film it for posterity!

Then a new shed can arise, phoenix like, from the ashes (possibly).

Just been linked to this from elsewhere and didn't know this thread had reappeared at the top. Watching for new developments with interest.

I had a fella levelling my garden some years ago. He had a good old bonfire going with shrubs and branches etc. going on it to get shot of them quickly and efficiently. There was a 6ft x 4ft shed that I said I'd be getting rid of and could he take it down for me. So he drove his little digger to it, shoved the hopper arm straight through the window and pulled the lever. Shed rips off the floor, he spins the digger on the spot , drives to fire and lowers arm. Shed had completely vanished within 5 minutes of asking him to remove it!

A brilliant thread resurrection! I had to re-read the whole thing and it certainly brightened up a dull Saturday morning! We need more threads like this!

I'm almost ready with the bungalow. Doesn't help that we put a thatched roof on our house. Wind has to be right, screw the bat stuff... I'll put a live video somewhere, after all, we know some firemen. What could possibly go wrong!

Sheds burning down seems quite common! Mind you when ours went up there was additional damage, including a neighbours shed!

The conclusion was that the pump for the neighbours pond overheated and caught fire setting fire to his shed then the fence and my shed. My wife and I had been working hard in our garden as the following weekend we were having a BBQ for 90 people. I looked out an upstairs window in the evening and could see what looked like a small bonfire in the neighbours garden. I thought it was a bit odd as it had been very dry and something didn't look right so I went down the garden to check. Shouted over the fence and no reply and it just looked wrong.

Called the fire brigade and they were there in 7 minutes, by which time the whole place was alight, the flames could be seen over the roof of our house! 2 fire engines arrived one outside our house, one outside the neighbours (which is an adjacent road). They couldnt get an answer from their house and had to go over the fence, which had comedy value as the first firefighter over fell straight in the pond! It wasn't until the firefighters hammered on their back windows the neighbours realised what was going on!

We had our BBQ a week later with this as the background!
