eBay, they're pretty cheap, around £30 each. The ones I have came with an additional metal brack and rubber stop to replace a plastic component, which the instructions said is prone to breakage. I would strongly recommend getting those as I don't think the plastic stops would be up to it.

was hoping to finish our second one before you finished yours, oh well frownwink

well done smile

if you've enjoyed it, its not a bad way to make a living & get out of the 9-5, we did it & were mortgage free in 5 years, this was in the hay day of the property game mind, not sure how doable it is now.

enjoy smile

It's by no means finished yet so you have plenty of time!

I'm not sure how easy it is now, but my thinking is we may see at least 2 years of capital growth before interest rates rise and a few people find themselves in difficulty and need to sell quickly.

Kitchen stuff in, still no idea where it all goes! Most importantly the cats are in too.

The sofas came in stock and had to be picked up, so I hired a van and also retrieved a whole load of office furniture I got free from work, some will go in my office, some will be sold. All a bit full now!

Wardrobes in, you can tell who has more clothes!

First night curry on deckchairs!

where is the cute little wooden step from?

My OH just had it, I assume because her Dad was a carpenter, I think it's a milking stool.

Truffle the kitten seems to like it.

Bath TV in.

Isn't the bath / tv the wrong way round? It looks like your head should be at the sloping end of the bath rather than the steep end but then the tv would be behind you.

It's more comfortable sitting in the deeper end, the shallow end is at quite a shallow angle and you wouldn't be that deep in the water. It's certainly the right way round for our purposes.

Which reminds me, with the wardrobe being open, don't let him in the dressing room, whatever you do.

It's amazing how much they can shed in an instant once they detect something expensive to lie on.

She doesn't really shed much at all, neither does the other cat, they love sitting in an open wardrobe but haven't ventured into the dressing room other than to sit on the windowcill.

Hello again, I managed to find some options on eBay. There's some that are rated at 7kg for £30 and some at £12kg for £50. But they both look the same. 12kg doesn't seem like enough though and 7 definitely isn't. What were yours rated at?

12kg would be fine, I think mine are 8kg, and as they are not extended that wide it seems more than sufficient. The rail rises back up quite easily with a fair weight of clothes on it.

These are the ones I have: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200973418901?var=5001920...

The oak worktop arrived from topworktops.co.uk yesterday, only 48 hours after placing the delivery and it looks very nice!

Ooh, that's going to contrast very nicely with the other counter surfaces. I wanted to do oak for our peninsula too, but was over-ruled.

Yeah we are some way off but slowly moving in the right direction!

It's oak and was £510 cut to size, edged, oiled and delivered which seems a lot but was a fraction of the cost of other places. One place wanted over £2k to do that!

Hope you've got the oil ready for that oak

It's a nice contrast and not being near any water it will work well
