My *VERY* diy garden kitchen build, BBQ and pizza oven heavy
Discussion
The sail was just a cheapo one from amazon for now:

It did the job though and kept us dry on a very wet day.
I need a bit of a bigger and stronger one long term though

Looks good, have you used the oven yet?
I most certainly have, it went straight in at the deep endIt slow cooked a whole minted leg of lamb and whole pork shoulder for pulled pork in the morning, hoovering around 180 degrees for about 5 hours
Then the meat came out and we really got it roaring, upto about 400 degrees and then we (party with friends) made about 20 pizzas
Then Sunday family came around for another pizza party and we made loads of pizza, calzone, garlic bread etc
I'm honestly amazed at how good it was, people that had never made a pizza before in their lives, with no instructions made a really tasty crispy pizza first time, me included!
We got through 36 of these pizza bases in its first 2 days
Unfortunately no pics of any finished pizzas, they went from oven to mouth pretty quick

that is a pretty impressive job, I'm being nagged to build a pizza oven. I think the only thing that lets it down is the grouting on the floor - why so thick? It seems to be softening with age but you have stunning slabs and it detracts (IMO!). Maybe some kind of polish to bring them up more?
Other than that, great job and I doubt my effort will come even close to as good! And I won't be taking pictures!
Thanks, the pizza oven is great, reccomend it!Other than that, great job and I doubt my effort will come even close to as good! And I won't be taking pictures!
To be honest ive never really thought of it/realised, I agree its slightly thicker than standard but it wasnt really intentional.
