Next up was converting the existing garage in order to extend the hallway to the rear of the house and provide a new location for the WC/utility/study

Scaffold going up for the 1st floor and garage



roof trusses starting to go on for both house and garage









Lats and membrane going on





finally getting tiled in! we are using the old tiles from the rear for the front roof and 1st floor canopy trying to keep everything looking as original as possible

Looks great. Have you made any progress buying the strip of land?

No progress with buying the land unfortunately, in reality our mind has been fully on the build,

I would like to say a thanks to the PH'er who sorted out the land registry details for us (apologies I have forgotten their name)

It is owned by the council however we will look further into this once moving onto the externals
