Matchstick and glue was my first thought, but as we plan to be here for a good few years, I'm thinking something a little more robust and long term.
The units are made of chipboard which is manufactured from.... glue and matches.

Tried matchsticks, glue, longer screws but only hinge plates last. Well they have for at least 5 years.

You could try a hinge repair plate, I've never used one but seen them in catalogues

I used these on our old kitchen, where the previous owner had walked into a door and damaged the carcas.

Worked well, and held for 14 months, before we replaced the whole kitchen.
I fitted 12 of those before Christmas - Can't envisage any more problems. Quick and easy to fit and very good fix, low price.

Fill the holes with a suitable filler that can be screwed into , pilot hole and use a longer screw that goes through into the 15mm end panel.

Insert nuts and M6 bolts should do it. Have a look at the second review.

I've used hinge repair plates with success. You need to fit them in pairs though or the door won't hang straight, and depending on how much adjustment you have in the hinges it may move the door over slightly. Shouldn't be a problem but the slight change in gaps between the doors did annoy me initially, but wouldn't if you aren't a mentalist like me. smile

I got a pair of the repair plates from screwfix yesterday, I've offered then up and they will work, but didn't get the chance to fit them last night.

The kitchen looks a bit council with one for missing...
