Went to look at my first home today

Nice house. Do you know how old it is? The internal cracks could be shrinkage of timber lintels, or just a bit of movement. Dry lined? Solid plaster?
What's it made of - the window detailing looks like they've finished the reveal with bits of timber covered in the same tyrolean they've used on the render - which would be a rubbish idea. Thermalite blocks can lose the key to the external render quite easily, and around openings is where cracks will start.
I wouldn't run just yet - if you can get it cheap enough and an expert can confirm it's not a deathtrap it might be worth a shot.
