Smelly bathroom, bath plug hole
Discussion
I was going to pop back and update, it’s been a week since applying phase 1 attempt.
I bought a two part bottle tip-in and wait solution (£10!) left it 3hrs (said up to 24hr!), rinsed for 10 mins, and issue hasn’t returned.
I can only assume my daughter’s long curly lock hair is getting trapped on the struts for the clicky up/down plug thing, and acting as a capillary siphon over the u-bend… if such a thing exists?
We do a good one or two de-tangle + oodles of conditioner washes each week so it doesn’t surprise me it was possibly hair.
However it did still drain very well which is why I didn’t think this kind of thing would resolve it.
