I quite like this, an £/€18.5million wooden shed.

That started off in proper Bond-villain style, then went downhill. "His skyscraper home in the city will be over 170m tall and will have an army.... of 600 staff to manage it. "

Buckingham Palace?
Interesting call, anyone want to give Savills a ring hehe

I'm guessing it classifies more as a stately attraction than residential though

& a whole Island does not count as the value is in the island not the property, i know, location location n all that, but c'mon....
Er, your logic is a bit flawed there. (Most of) the value is in the land when you buy a house. Especially at the top level where a buyer will happily demolish the existing house (see Bishops Avenue for examples)

Ummmmm....considering the property linked below is from Christies Great Estates, a website that doesn't baulk at printing prices of properties upwards of $95,000,000 for this to be POA must mean...well.

Auersperg Palace, Vienna. Yes a former Royal Palace in Vienna. Built in 1706 and giving prospective owners 6,500 sq metres (that's Sq m not Sq ft !!)

Oh and they have Pickfair for sale at $60,000,000. Those who haven't heard of it it's the renowned Georgian-style manor once owned by silent film star greats Douglas Fairbanks Sr. and Mary Pickford.

Click on features properties and Great Estates.

...y'know when you go on Rightmove, and do a postcode/area search, it always lists the houses' in the order of most expensive first... but never, ever, have I seen a pricetag that high. Not when I've searched Manchester, Bradford, or even Stockport. Weird or what confused

pretty sure that was on mtv's cribs. some of the technology is unreal. i love how each person who lives in the house wears a bracelet or something like that and the computer in the house reads it and changes lights, temperature and even the music to suit the persons mood or preset tastes.

I was probably still at school when that deal went down! I once did a job (AV install) for one of the founders of Intel though. Back in 1994 he was reportedly making $55m a year!
