One of these might suit if your cabinet is deep enough (deep = front to back in kitchen speak) otherwise there are other depth units on that site.

Would you be able to supply me with one of those? smile

Just placed my order with Wren. Have been quite impressed so far. They've been much better than Wickes/homebase/Leekes/magnet, not to mention vastly cheaper.

Looks like it needs the Blum fittings already installed in yr kitchen for that to work. I might be wrong though as is the middle of the night
Surely your kitchen company can supply with what you need?

I found a link elsewhere with the Blum Tandembox but the supplier appeared trade only. Wren won't sell it, they only do a pair of tiny bins which is a waste of space so I told them just to supply me with a carcass and a door and I will sort the mechanism out.

A good friend of mine recently had a kitchen from Wren, installed by their "number one" fitter, to have that fitter she went on a 2 month waiting list.

Long story short, total nightmare. Ended up a complete bodge, most of her downstairs living area was flooded due to true cowboy work, very poor standard and extremely traumatic for my friend.

They, Wren, are still putting things right as we speak. Good on them, eh!

My thoughts: best to avoid.

Friend has an album of pics, for insurance purposes.

But the lead time is six weeks anyway so that's not much of a waiting list.

Would you be able to get some pics of the problems...got me worried now!

Happy to PM you and give you enough info to make your own choice.
I'll contact my friend for the pics, I expect she wouldn't mind sharing in this instance.

I'd never heard of Wren until she told me the saga.

I went in, and then walked when I couldn't get a price printed price list of units......... seems a bit like pykes who blacktop your drive, and guage discounts based on what they think they can squeeze you for.

I believe in a fair price for a fair product, and everyone should be able to get the same offer

Started to install them today as per my other thread, they seem much of a muchness, the only thing I don't like is the doors are not "handed" and they cut hinge cutouts for both sides and fill in with plastic blanks, not very impressed with that...

lol ..... that's absolutely shocking.

If I hear one more person who has no idea about what they are talking about, tell me with confidence that all furniture is the same, I'll point them in the direction of this thread.......

I bet they knock those doors out on a CNC machine for pennies, then can't even hand them, just to save a few more pennies.

I'm surprised you didn't pick up on the doors though in the showroom .... or had they handed them in the shop?

Kick up a right fuss if they have. Best of luck with it.

They will be replacing every one of them if the ones in the showroom aren't like that!

They need to be replacing every one of them even if the ones in the showroom are like that. The only question is- who is going to pay for it?

You will have to get them changed because otherwise you will feel annoyed and disappointed every time you open one of those doors.

Having spoke with the lady earlier today I can perhaps give you a clearer picture.
Her original order went in last May.
Based on Wren's info she deferred the installation to September due to the availability of their top fitter.
This fitter and his crew is where things went badly wrong during which time the chap was allegedly sacked.

Just today, by way of bringing an end to the necessary repairs tiling work had been completed.

In my friend's words today, Wren have done everything to rectify the whole saga to her satisfaction and she is happy with the quality of the units and products supplied by Wren.

It would appear the critical area where Wren is concerned is all about who performs the installation, apparently.

HTH,

V.

Thanks very much V, it's very reassuring that they got it sorted in the end. Especially as I have ordered the install through them too.

You're shopping at the wrong end of the market.

I don't know what you are getting at with that comment.
