Ummmmm....considering the property linked below is from Christies Great Estates, a website that doesn't baulk at printing prices of properties upwards of $95,000,000 for this to be POA must mean...well.

Auersperg Palace, Vienna. Yes a former Royal Palace in Vienna. Built in 1706 and giving prospective owners 6,500 sq metres (that's Sq m not Sq ft !!)

Oh and they have Pickfair for sale at $60,000,000. Those who haven't heard of it it's the renowned Georgian-style manor once owned by silent film star greats Douglas Fairbanks Sr. and Mary Pickford.

Click on features properties and Great Estates.
On a main road *sucking of air through teeth*

Think of the lads en route home using the wall as a latrine.

All this makes me wish I too had been in a position to get a hold of state assets for nothing/pittance for myself and a few choice buddies.

Oligarchs? Thieves more like it.

Swaines Hill Manor, Hampshire. I saw it on Knight Franks website for £12,500,000 earlier this year, it's sold now though.
I lived half a mile from that, always did wonder what was up that long driveway !!!!

1 Hyde Park - £100,000,000

It's in Vienna though, not Basingrad or Sluff.

Bill Gates current house is less ostentatious but very high tech.

pretty sure that was on mtv's cribs. some of the technology is unreal. i love how each person who lives in the house wears a bracelet or something like that and the computer in the house reads it and changes lights, temperature and even the music to suit the persons mood or preset tastes.
Its done with RFID pins.

Also if you get a phone call, only the phone nearest you rings.

Its all relatively simple and quite easily achieveable for relatively modest money today. When it was built though it was quite special.

In the trampoline room the video wall has the capability to show one image on the way up and another on the way down, which is a nice touch.

In the flesh its actually quite restrained, given that his business partner owns almost all of Mercer Island just across Lake Washington a bit from Bills house.

Not so much the RFID stuff (though we have the technology) but occupancy based and we've done a bit of 'follow-me' audio on a lower scale.

Theres not a massive call for it though to be honest.

The most expensive house in the USA is coming onto the market, the $150million former home of TV producer Aaron Spelling.

123 rooms covering 56,500sq ft of interior space but only 4.6 acres of land. It does come with it's own room dedicated to gift wrapping though. hehe

what the f is that big circular thing to the rear? 1st on the wrapping room, love it hehe would need its own wrapper though, maybe an umpa loompa or two....

ps - its been reported in the news here that the guy who had his 35 million euros DEPOSIT down on this 'most expensive house in the world' & who wanted his deposit back has found a typo on the contract that might enable him to get his money back hehe apparently there is an 'i' that looks like a '1' which looks like maybe the reason the lady has to give him back the 35 million rofl

That is the turning circle at the front of the house with a fountain in the middle.
