Carpet over underlay on plywood?

Has more a look of ply to me though .

Thanks. Yeah, the sofa does fill the room to be honest. Hopefully any potential buyer could see through that though.

I wouldn't rely on any potential buyer to have any imagination. Added to which the optical illusion makes the room look smaller. Even if you can imagine removing the sofa you are left with an impression of size.
