They are about 60 miles too far north to command that kind of price.

Check the teddy bear sanctuary.. yes you read that right.
I think it's no longer being lived in, it looks quite bear.

Last owner probably slipped and fell on one of the many shiny marble steps and cracked their ted open.

I saw this one the other day online (not for sale)

Looks like someone renovated the Parthenon and fitted a loft conversion.

Not a nightmare as such.

Check out bed 3.

That's not a bedroom, it's a cupboard with a bed in.
That's the Josef Fritzl suite.

Another one from the website above.

This is a bit... different.
Very strange…. So many questions too.
It's one of the "Homes of the Future" the 1981 Homeworld exhibition in Milton Keynes. Lot's of designers and architects built what they thought modern houses would be like. There were others in MK too - https://www.destinationmiltonkeynes.co.uk/news/cel... All houses using eco energy saving decades before Grand Designs made it on TV.

"The property requires a level of cosmetic updating/ modernisation throughout, therefore we have decided not to photograph the interior rooms."

That's a first - how bad must they be?

Photos 19-21 yikes

It’s between two stations, so ironically it’s not the best in the area hehe

Also the people in that house must have really bad neck problems from looking at all those TVs that are basically on the ceiling.

And how much?
5ft ceiling?

Well maintained corner apartment?

Did they ignore the rusting towel rail and stains all over the bathroom?
I think they were distracted. And possibly in a hurry to leave.
Covid = mask & hand sanitizer
That apartment = petrol & match

Tricky to see for sure but looking at the wall of the next door house and the green wheelie bin in photo 1 it would appear that whatever room that is bottom right (and 1st floor) has it's window blocked by light from the next door house.

Developer$ putting the money first, common sense last.

What's not to love 3-bed detached, conservatory, balcony, garage, parking, garden front and rear. Kids climbing frame next door and your own natural spring in the back garden.

Another grey shed, this time for £700,000, and there's more that just that one and it's right next to the M25 (ignore agents rightmove map)

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/112290743#/...

It's here, you can see the foundations on the aerial photo - https://www.google.com/maps/place/Stapleford+Tawne...

Love the view - https://goo.gl/maps/43G7nma26CbCSczQ7 if they didn't have a big high fence at the front blocking off the "rural Essex countryside" that is what you'd see.

Not really a nightmare but if you click on street view in the advert you can see why the development is called Chapel View.

Bet people are dying to view it. wink
I called m to arrange a viewing, but the estate agent has ghosted me.

Aside from the tiny bedrooms, master 8ft6 wide, others 8ft 6 x 8ft 2, the surprise 4th bedroom not listed but assume it's the study downstairs and the limited upstairs headroom.

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/112739534#/...

I'm looking at the thin window pillars between each conversion and can't help but think, thin walls, I hope there will be no noisy children next door.

And all for £800,000 of your hard earned.

Ps. Bathroom is just as big as the bedrooms. No photos of the small bedrooms, the estate agent didn't bring his extra wide fisheye lens with him.

Handy for the a46 and m40 (you need a powerfull car to leave the drive and up to dual carriageway speed).

Been up for sale for yrs.
Quick left out into a gap then dive into the layby before being rear-ended to pick up speed before re-joining at 70mph. Genius location. hehe

Not sure if the house is a nightmare. Just can’t see.
Those furnishings makes it look very roomy, no not roomy, the opposite of roomy. I had to look at the floorplan to find how you get in and noticed 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms. I'd lose the ensuite & cupboard and make it a 3 bedroom if it's accurate to scale. Then it might make £365,000.
