not exactly the most lavish on this thread but this was Ryan Giggs old house ( formative playing days @ Man UTD ).

12.5 million? For that? Crazy money surely?

Its nice. But around 2.5 million nice I would think.
confused It's £1.9M

Which is bloody ridiculous. Why on earth would you pay £12m to live there? At least £10m overpriced - it's hardly a beautiful location. The other house on the river was £12m and I (sort of) get that. You'd have to be either smoking or selling crack to think that's a good value property.

Modest by most standards on this thread, but I have often admired this place when bottling past. I didn't know it had such an extensive renovation.
Strong money for here, and 3 bedrooms only :

You're right that is strong money but it does have land I suppose. Rolled and wrote off a 205 not far from there one New Years eve...

Not a single interior photo, suggesting the renovation required is quite considerable

But it looks like a nice building & it is in a decent spot (though the village name isn't perfect is it?)

That is lovely. Lots of pawn on this thread, but in the real world that could be an amazing home. Great location as well.

I suspect it's one of those properties that will generate loads of interest, go for well over the asking price, then fall through (at least once), raising the vendor's aspirations then sit.
There are several interior shots at the agent's website. Looks in good repair to me, if dated ... http://www.blenkinandco.com/properties-for-sale/pr...

The 12.5 mil Forby one has been posted numerous times before and as you've pointed out, is horrendously over priced.
it must be a miss-print. just up the road is this for 1/10th the price. i actually prefer this one. couple of rooms are a bit bland but a really nice Victorian house -

I'd be happy with the 4 car garage and the chapel opposite. Rest of teh family can have the house...

I'll take it. I could walk to work from there, would save me a couple of hours commuting every day. The diesel savings I would make should easily cover the mortgage.

Have we done this one?

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/new-homes-for-sale/prop...

Need I say more?

Just can't work out who's it is, that's a pretty full on trophy cabinet.

Ross Brawn or someone like John Collins?

It is however, utter, utter perfection in every way.
