Haven't been to Abersoch for a few years but even back then it was overrun with pimped up Range Rovers and the like - it's known to some as Cheshire--by-the-Sea.

9 years left on the lease!
so let's get this right:

- glorified mobile home (and not that glorious)
- sardine-like packaging
- leasehold
- 9 years left on the lease
- Wales (nothing against Wales, not even the Welsh!)
- £620k

What happens at the end of the 'licence'?

If it's pure expiration that's nearly £69,000 a year. I could manage some rather jolly holidays on that budget.

While the house itself isn't a "nightmare" per se, a lot of the places I'm looking at have been converted from a pair of semi-detatched cottages.

This is probably the worst consequential layout I've seen in over a year of looking.

Jesus H, J, K and L Christ.

Knock a hole through the back of the back staircase add a couple of steps up and make a box room bedroom out of bed 4 and remove the ensuite rofl. Block off access from bed 2. Turn half of bed 3 into an ensuite for bedroom 2 the other half if big enough an shower ensuite for bedroom 1 or a walk in wardrobe. And then you have a 3 bed, usable cottage.

Whoever renovated that did it on a very small budget, in the dark with no lights on.

So what's the ground floor like?

I think it's a lovely 2 bedder. Each bedroom has its own staircase, plus storage and dressing room.

Or if you're really lazy, just add a door between 1 and 3.

Surely if you are really lazy, you won't add a door between 1 and 3.

That would mean potentially having to trek between floors just to get from B1 to B3 because you left your phone there.

FYI by lazy, I mean add a door by paying someone to do the actual adding for you. Don't you try to out-lazy me. I've been practising for decades.

Very good!

Mercifully the ground floor makes much more sense. I've lost the listing now, but the central entrance was merged and turned into a single door, with a hallway to both sides.

It made my head hurt the first time I looked at it.

Agreed. It would help if it wasn't being marketed (and priced) as a 4-bed family home. laugh
