Any complications/issues with the wiring that I would need to be aware of pse?

TVM
No. It'll have an L N E in and the same out. Make sure you have tyhem the right way 'round and all will be well.
It may even have common terminals for N and E and an L in and an L out.

Live and Neutral are the power coming in to the timer.
The neutral for the water heater comes from the same neutral.
The live for the water heater comes from the 'NO' (Normally Open) terminal.
You must put live into the 'COM' (Common) terminal.

It may help to put a junction box of some sort on the wall. Just to have some terminal strip to wire to.

If you use that diagram that says 'Single Power Supply', the circle with a big 'X' in represents the water heater with a Live in one side and a Neutral in the other.
Is that clear? Mail me if not. smile

Spot on. The little box in the diagram is the boiler. N to one side of it the live from B on the switch to the other. You could do with some brown phase sleeve over the blue to identify it, that's all.(Assuming those two conductors need joining to fire the boiler!!)
