Hi all

I need to replace white internal doors but the frames and skirting boards have been previously painted in a duck egg colour, I don't fancy stripping the old paint as there is a lot of it but would rather sand and add a couple of quality white paint, but what paint do I need to bring it back to a bright white?

Thanks in advance

Bedec MSP or Bedec Aqua Advanced from Toolstation are very good. They do a satin and gloss finish and are water-based so no fumes and won’t yellow over time like oil-based white.

rub down the frames and give them two coats of this.

You will need turps to clean up and it needs 16hrs between coats. But, it's easy to apply and is opaque with a good finish.
