Sharpening a Chainsaw Blade - How Many Times?

Did this over the weekend, and it seemed to take a significant amount of metal off the blade. How many times do you reckon a chainsaw blade can effectively be sharpened?

Little and often .. 100-150 times?

As you sharpen you cut back into the teeth and as long as there is as much metal in the vertical part as the width of the tooth you will be OK.

There's usually a mark on the cutter to show how far back they can be cut.
Alternatively go to B&Q and buy a new one for £15-£20
