I've had my pad for 2 years but recently had some stronger lintels put in above 2 windows.
My problem is that the guys had to remove a triangular shaped section of bricks above each window to get the lintels in. The work has been done perfectly but I don't like the fact that the 'new' pointing stands out a mile compared to the rest of the pointing, which has obviously been there since the house was built.
...does anyone know a quick way of making pointing 'look' older? I thought about trying to 'dirty' it but was not sure.
