Im thinking a Limestone tile for floor and walls would be good, but not sure of any of the online stores, does anyone have any recommendations for obtaining limestone or is limestone not good for bathrooms and should i use something else?

Had a quick google but my Mac is obsessed with trying to get me to import stuff from USA and refuses to think its in the UK.

fk...... bks... that will teach me to type and talk on the phone at the same time....

Can someone change the title to tile.....

Maybe if you googled 'tiles' you'd get better results?

I laid limestone flags in mrs envy's hall and bathroom - 600 x 600mm

whilst it does look awesome it does need to be looked after i.e. it needs to be cleaned fairly regularly and resealed every three or four months otherwise it just looks grubby

I laid two massive slabs of black granite with an invisible joint in my bathroom which was miles easier, cheaper and it doesn't need to be looked after anywhere near much

find yourself a good tile or stone merchant

Excellent quality (so our tiler said) - none broken and great service http://www.stonetilemarket.co.uk

The prices of local outlets were astonishingly bad

'Lydia Classico Travertine Honed & Filled. Medium light coloured, It is the product that is synonymous with the name of travertine as known in the market.'

Brilliant copywriting! It looks great until you read it properly. Let's apply it to a different product and see what happens:

'Smoked haddock. Medium light coloured, It is the product that is synonymous with the name of smoked haddock as known in the market.'

DOH!
