Dishwasher won't drain...
Discussion
Hi,
I have a slimline Bosch dishwasher that the water wont drain from in any of the programs.
I have tried to see if they waste pipe is blocked but when I blow throught the pipe I can get bubbles coming through into the dishwasher.
I,ve taken the sides off it but not sure what each bit does.....
Any tips? I'd really like to repair it due to a forthcoming wedding taking any spare cash!
Thanks in advance!

This happened to my Bosch. Not saying its the same but...
When you take the left hand side off. Look at the bottom of the casing. Do you see any water? If so, then the auto cut-out switch may have cut in.
What model is it? If its the slimline one then its a small polystyrene block/float connected to a micro-switch.
IF water is detected then it will NOT pump.
The system also recycles via a load of chambers on the left side. Blowing it will NOT clear it.
Viewed from back. See my Bosch thread I am about to start.

Same happened to ours( its to stop them flooding the kitchen), just dry it out with towels etc. When you take the left hand side off. Look at the bottom of the casing. Do you see any water? If so, then the auto cut-out switch may have cut in.

I bet something is stopping the impeller from turning and thus will not empty.
I think we have a winner!!!!A shard or very thin glass... didn't see it for a while and the impeller still seemed to to turn but I guess when the motor spins it might have been getting it the way!
On it's second quick wash now so fingers crossed!
Thanks guys!
