Building Project

Shortly starting a refurbishment project on a BTL property, the same being approximately 150 miles away from my home town, therefore looking for an experience person to watch over the project. By watch over I mean keeping an eye on the property, builder’s work schedule, builder’s quality of work, builders turning up etc. etc.

What profession should I be looking for, and what is the difference between a consultant engineer, building consultant, building surveyor, building designer , project manager etc. etc., or are they all very much the same.
