What is your favourite wild animal?
Discussion
Too hard to pick just one.
Tiger - Wow, what an animal, I remember being just the thickness of the glass between us away from the nose of a white one in Glasgow Zoo when I was a kid. Loved them since.
Wolves - I MUST see these in the wild and hear them howl while i'm at it, wonderful animals and fascinating to watch on TV.
Leopard - one of the most beautiful animals to ever exist!
Whales (all) - no reason needed, these things and magnificent.

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned dolphins. Having swam with a pod of wild dolphins in the Red Sea miles from anywhere, they are absolutely amazing.Playful, trusting & seemingly constantly happy.

Beaver.
As above - https://www.cuisine.co.nz/recipe/mussels-with-chil...The orange ones are female, the white - male.
I've been lucky to have seen all the big hitters on safari but none of them give me a buzz. I find the trickiest to find beasts much more rewarding. Like seeing a Goldcrest outside my house or spotting a Blue Whale (albeit not outside my house). I think I like the elusive creatures best.
Snow leopard. Watching them Ron around on near vertical rock faces, it looks like they're floating. They obviously don't believe in gravity.
Also peregrine falcon. Not just beautiful, but ridiculously fast.
Sharks too, especially the blue shark, so streamlined and a lovely two-tone colour.

I've been lucky enough to fly a golden eagle, very cool animal. I'd love to get a closer view of the south coast White tailed eagles, only seen them from a distance. I'm off up to Scotland in April, hoping to do some raptor watching with my daughter.
Yeah we flew her too.. And several other birds of prey. Got another day coming up too..... There are rumours of a few wild eagles being spotted around here too. Plenty of kites and hawks and whatnot, even a few barn and other owls.
Favourite animals..
Land animal, a Leopard/ jaguar, just power to weight ratio is awesome, they seriously punch well above their weight but are also fantastic family animals.
Water animal, a Great White shark, just simply amazing and so wrongly victimised, maybe the ultimate predator. Was gutted to find out that Orca do hunt them, admittedly a pod of Orca rather than one on one.

Wouldn't that make Orca the ultimate predator?Land animal, a Leopard/ jaguar, just power to weight ratio is awesome, they seriously punch well above their weight but are also fantastic family animals.
