I've been remiss - we've had Angus for a while (he's four & a half months old now) and this is the first time I've added him to this thread.
What you doing?
Stalking his 4 year old "sister"
Being cute for the camera
Very cute! Border Terriers? Just checking as usually they are scruffier and have a lighter coat. Are they mad? I have a border terrier/dachshund and she's a little strange in a good way, wondering which genes that is from! What you doing?

He'll get a bit lighter and more wiry/scruffy as time goes on. Without care of his coat he'll eventually look like a bog brush!
Good question re madness. They're certainly "independent of mind", but they were bred to work on their own underground flushing foxes out for the hunt hounds to chase so they can tend to turn off their ears and please themselves when they want. Having said that, he's a loving chap - likes nothing better than fuss and a tummy tickle; I expect that might change as he matures but we'll see.

Agreed, some nice new hounds this week....
Steve - is yours a Border ? Not usually as mucj black in the coat ?
Yup - blue and tan Border boy. Most are red and tan, but they all fade with age! Our 4 year old red & tan girl already has greying eyebrows and muzzle.Steve - is yours a Border ? Not usually as mucj black in the coat ?
We wanted a blue boy since they are less common. They can command a premium but we were lucky to find Angus as one of 2 boys born to blue parents and not at some silly price.
Mum is a well loved farm dog. No collar and rides round on the tractor with the farmer all day, hunting rats as required. Perfect terrier life!

Excellent photographs this week.
Anyone doing interesting stuff with their dogs this weekend?
We are taking Daisy and Barry to DogFest at Losely Park tomorrow, the website says 12000 dogs were at the Cheshire event last weekend so here's hoping there is a similar turnout this weekend.Anyone doing interesting stuff with their dogs this weekend?

I'm playing with the dogs in the garden, typical broken tennis ball, dog is almost as perplexed as I am - not quite sure how I managed this shot. The ball is now adorning the top of an arch.
Border Collie, she'll have it down by lunch time no doubt. By barking continuously at it.
Have you knocked the top of the arches off by throwing dog toys?Border Collie, she'll have it down by lunch time no doubt. By barking continuously at it.

If I threw the dogs they'd only come bounding back
