Bosley (aged 11) doing what old bulldogs like to do best.

This is Pancho.... he is a young wire haired Dachshund that was picked up on the street and put in a 'kill' pound in Spain... with only 4 days left I could not leave him there. The shelter where I adopted my other dog got him out for me and took him home with one of the volunteers, and now he's coming to foster with me - where he will stay until I have found his forever home...

In the pound

Well done for fostering him, I should imagine he'll get a good home very speedily, he's cute!

Thanks, yes I am sure he will - he is VERY affectionate and they have nick-named him 'baby' because he always wants a cuddle and sleeps upside down in human arms like a baby - although I know I will be picky when it comes to letting him go. He can stay with us as long as it takes.

We've always had Golden Retrievers but unexpectedly lost our most recent, Alfie, following complications after surgery. We didn't plan on buying another dog, but then we saw this little guy.

Paddington (Paddy) is a Goldendoodle, 12 weeks old in this photo:

He has a fantastic temperament; great with my kids while also being quietly confident around other dogs.

Beautiful dog, is he/she a Cockapoo? We are looking to get one after Christmas.
Yes, he's an F1 cockapoo. Silly name but fun dogs. Do you know which breeder you are going to use?

biggrin

We specifically wanted a dog with a standard-sized Poodle mum and Golden Retriever dad. Supposedly with this combination a black coat is always the result.

I love this thread and now I can contribute. I'm 4 weeks into owning my first dog and already wondering why I didn't do this earlier. Great fun. Some photos.....

Day 1 in the garden, now what should I rip up first?

Don't laugh, I'll grow into it

If that'd been my mum's Yorkie cross, it'd be curled up in the baby seat laugh

No idea at the moment. We live in Lichfield, Staffordshire. Willing to travel though for a good breeder. Can you recommend yours?

Yes and they aren't that far away so I'll send you a PM with some details.

Judging by her happy and positive looking face; probably not!

Our Pug; God rest his soul, would wet himself and shake at the vets; he knew when he was going, he would slam the brakes on even if you were just walking past.

Saw a bit of a program last weekend suggesting puppy/dog play groups at vets. So that they get used to going there just to have fun then when they go there for treatment they aren't scared of the building or smells.
