Neighbours cat keeps crapping on my lawn

As the description says my neighbours cat keeps crapping on my lawn, apart from beating the owner and the cat how can I stop this from happening?

The cat does it's business in the same spot of the garden as far as I can tell.

Thanks for the advice, I'm certainly investing in a water pistol as that sounds like good fun as well.
as for lemons never heard anything quite like that but let's chuck some lemons everywhere I can at least achieve the weirdest neighbour award

I'm certainly no cat killer! and I get on with my neighbours but I still believe the subject to be a little uncomfortable in bringing up and wouldn't want to ruin the relationship (but cats go missing all the time rite?) ........ jokes .

Again, serious issues have arisen out of such conduct. And some cat people will happily poison a dog which has attacked their cat - easily done with food over the fence.

I do not want to inflict any harm to the cat despite my "beat the neighbor or the cat" comment I'm sure the consistent spraying of water will be enough to deter the little git, that’s if I every catch him/she in the act I have my suspicions of which of the three cats that walk around the neighborhood are the culprit.
