Save your money: BT Tower view point
The depth you can zoom to on that is insane!Wheelrepairit said:
Can I ask, have you done the Burj in Dubai, we have just booked up for new yr and fancy heading up the tower.
Any pointers. Thanks
Yeah I've been up a couple of times, once in the day and once at night. Both very impressive.Any pointers. Thanks
As said above it's about £20 if you book 24 hours in advance or about £80 if you just turn up. It can get booked up quite quickly though especially in the Winter so if you know what day you want to go then book it as early as you can. The fountain at the foot of the Burj is fantastic and the mall is huge. The fountain usually runs a couple of times around midday and then every half hour in the evenings. Most impressive after dark.
Oh, and on the ground floor of the mall the steak at the Texas Roadhouse is amazing!
went at the weekend and thankfully had a clear sunny day, it is abit steep but was bought as a Christmas present for me and my dad by my brother. the 3 of us lasted about 40 mins and it is by far the highest i have ever been in a building. the open air section made me feel abit funny though and for some reason does not feel quite as sturdy!

Thanks for pointers ref the Burj.
Seems you can only book 30 days in advance, so will make note to do so nearer the time.
We are only in Dubai for 3 days over new yr, stopping there on way home from Maldives.
I'm hoping they don't close the Burj to load it up with fireworks for new yrs eve, lol.
