Yup it's Tokyo, taken from the observation deck in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, Shinjuku. There was a minor earthquake while I was up there which freaked me out a bit. Fortunately I was sat on the loo at the time

We were going to go there but it was closed on the particular days we were in Tokyo, in the end we went to the Park Hyatt (a la Lost in Translation).

I'm at work and don't have any photos, so someone else can have a free go.
