I land in Bangkok on the 8th Jan so message me if you're around in Jan... I'll be out there for 3+ weeks, starting Bangkok and then going to Koh Lanta, was there end of last year and loved it.. better than koh Lipe.. but it depends what you're looking for..

yea guess so... Lipe is definitely more low key / backward! Still, whole BBQd red snapper on Xmas day was pretty good
