I am thinking of taking a shourt break to Dubai to get a days business meetings and a few days sun for the family, wife and two children 10 and 7 years old.

Can I get any advise from anybody that has been for a short break with kids of similar ages, what would a fair number of days be considering flight times etc, I am thinking something like 4 nights, is there plenty to do for young children ?

My eldest has school tests coming in June time so would be happier if she only missed a day or two from school hence the short trip if we include a weekend.

As my wife is also expecting in Sept I would like to consider better seats, business or first class, are children welcomed in business class ( they are very well behaved )

I think Emirates have some business class special offers on at the moment, so upgrading to business class may be cheaper than expected, albeit I assume you will be paying full price for the children to travel business class.

I'd recommend the Jumeirah Beach hotel - plenty of activities for children and the 'Wadi Wadi' water park with private entrance (free) which should be enough to keep kids happy for hours at a time!!

Cheers
