Couldn't find a more appropriate section to put this Topic in - so apologies if i have started this thread in the wrong section.

I am planning a nice drive down to Brindisi in Italy in the next couple of months, then taking the Car Ferry over from there to Antalya in Turkey.

I will be staying in Turkey a couple of months and fancied the drive down to Brindisi and also having the car in Turkey whilst i am there.

Has anyone done this trip before ? Can anyone advise on the following ?

- How to book the ferry ? Cost ? I can't find a website with details at all.
- Any issues when taking the car into Turkey off the ferry ? I know the car can only stay in the country 6 months , but i plan to stay less than that.

Cheers,
Nick

This link seems to offer some information - http://www.cemar.it/dest/ferries_turkey.htm

I don't have any information or advice to give about Turkey as I've never been, but have driven down to Italy (Venice, Ancona, Brindisi) countless times to catch the various ferries to Greece.

STG.

Thanks.

It looks like direct ferries do not start again till April.
