PH Navigators i need your help to find best way to london

Tomorrow i have to get from Lincoln to round the corner from St james under ground by 09:45.

I will be travelling by car so need to park up, do i head straight there and hope to find a car park? Drive to Victoria rail station, park and take the tube? Or what other options do I have?

Bare in mind the tubes may be out of action or at least bloody busy!

This may be a daft thing to say but surely you will be better off driving to Grantham or Newark and getting a train from there? Only takes an hour and no parking worrys, unless ofc you need your car there.

wouldnt the fast train from peterborough to kings cross be easier.

9.01 get in at 9.45 and is off peak. not sure if the 8.45 is anymore.

simple tube from kings cross to victoria which is just round the corner (800m walk from st james!)

Have to agree, parking will be very very very expensive if you can find anywhere. If you don't need the car, train it.

If you do, how about parking at Edgware and tubing it? Northern line was running today so hopefully should be OK tomorrow.

OK! took your advise and headed for Edgware, 45 mins on the tube, walked out of St James and my meeting venue was 30 seconds walk. I get paid expenses, hence why i wanted to drive. If i took the train, they would pay, but as i took my car, im &60 up after fuel!.
