I stayed at Villa Magdala - very nice indeed. Really good breakfast too.

Stayed at homewood park hotel a couple of years ago; lovely place, boutique style rooms and the spa almost to ourselves whenever we wanted to use it! Would definitely recommend.

We stayed there last year. I've been in a lot of hotels around the world but this genuinely is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. The family that run it are very friendly, the husband especially has great chat. Go for the room with the four poster bed. smile

The town centre is about 15 mins walk away.
So weekend before last we spent the night here. And...it was indeed lovely. Superb and interesting hosts, great views, brilliant pets that are very much a part of the experience and a cracking breakfast. Recommended and also thumbup to g3org3y

thumbup I was a little nervous that my recommendation perhaps wouldn't live up to expectation! Can breathe a sigh of relief. smile

I booked some Italian friends in there a while back and they enjoyed it. I would have recommended it, (in fact I recommended The Priory) but as I recall it, the OP wanted a Spa.
