Hi all,

I'm going on honeymoon to Borneo via Singapore. We will have 6 nights in Borneo and 7 in Singapore.

I have full vaccinations and can travel anywhere in the world but my other half only has the ones she would have had in school.

Are there any she needs for visiting both areas? I'm sure SIngapore is ok but am not so sure on Borneo.

The honeymoon is a surprise so I can't just ask her to find out from the doctors, i'm currently out of the country also.

Yes it's Kota Kinabalu, that's good to know then as it makes keeping the whole thing secret easier.

I'm really looking forward to Borneo as i've not even been to that area of the world with work so it will be a real change from the norm for us both.

Although a bit warm in June laugh

These are all great things to hear, it's very much appreciated and means we can plan some of those activities as soon as we arrive cool

I've worked in some very hot and humid places but that was in overalls, it'll require a big shopping trip before we leave I think.

Time to dust off my adventure sandals wink

Trying to fill 7 days in Singapore is going to be tough! I would even think about taking a flight to Bangkok or Phuket.
For Singapore I was just using Trip Advisor and slowly whittleing down the list till I had 20 or so things to see which we would decide on when we got there.

Are there any must see things you can reccomend?

We have free drinks and snacks at the hotel all day but intended to sample some weird and wonderful food with a big meal each night.

I'm used to Norwegian prices so the costs out there shouldn't be too much of a shock.

All great suggestions guys, a great help and has helped me narrow it down to make a great trip.

I'll be sure to pack our walking boots for Borneo biggrin

I shall do a little write up on my return.
