One of our party is gluten intolerant and we have booked BA club class - BA do have the option to select a gluten free meal but having done this in economy class on BA and others the alternate is a joke to the point what was available as a normal meal they could have picked out the safe to eat non gluten bits.

What help do you want?
As per the post what is the meal option for gluten free at Club class - if its a rubbish substitute we will opt for normal meal and not touch gluten items.

Your OP doesn't ask that question.

I have no idea anyway.

If it's a short haul flight it will all be pretty rubbish.
Normal BA club Europe meals are very good. wink

Really?

That's not my experience, although I haven't flown with them this year.
The breakfasts are identical to club world from memory.

If it's the same as club world now won't you get a choice?
We have never had to book in advance for veggie options, but I suppose gluten free could be different.
Its different for allergies - if you tell them they will ensure that they have a meal specifically for you unlike a situation whereby you'd like non meat (you can select vegiterian too in advance).

Worst "I can afford Club" post ever.
Lol we book very early and use air miles so actually costs us barely the cost of one economy seat for a family of 4 in Club.

Worst I've no idea how to leverage frequent flyer and early purchase schemes ever response.

Well I've elected to put those who need it on the dietary option there and back.

So glad we all helped.

As you are on a diet I hope you opted for the fruit.

I'd actually be really keen to understand how you managed this. Are you talking about Club World or Club Europe, because with Club world getting 4 seats on any flight with miles alone is a real struggle. I have nearly 1 million avios & 2 companion vouchers and rarely get the chance to use them with the family on anything other than club Europe, which seems pointless. Also, where are you actually going?
Club Europe.- Sofia and I booked up pretty much 12 months ago/as soon as they came out.

Have only done club world once so far once the kids are older will be doing more long haul
