2 days in central France?

We'll be returning from Avignon at the beginning of July (via car) and have left a couple of days for a lazy saunter back to Dieppe. All I know at the moment, is that we'll definitely be coming via the Millau bidge.

Got any ideas for places to stop/see/avoid somewhere in the Clermont Ferrand/Limoges/Poitiers/Bourges/Tours area?

I'll get googling on those other suggestions, although the gite suggested above is only available for a full week at this time of year.
