The last few DDs have suffered somewhat from absent friends.

So, with plenty of notice (in spite of it being a regular diary slot) how about everyone makes a big effort to get-together ahead of the summer holidays?

The tales of alcohol-fuelled woe seem to put some people off. Rest assured, there are as many attendees who enjoy a good mix of a few drinks and socialising as there are people who try to exact a self-inflicted coma. So don't let the boozers put you off attending!

As usual, we meet at the bar upstairs in Dirty Dicks; just across the road from Liverpool St station.

So sort your diary and get your name down! (And will Garlick and Stuart make it this time?)

I do tend to drink too much on those affairs, I confess.

It has been a tough year, my life has been pretty much ripped to shreds and I have nothing positive so I tend to over indulge in a vain effort to block out the pain and stop myself thinking about about stepping in front of a train rather than into one on the way home.

Having no real friends, randoms from the web are really the only place I felt I fitted. I didn't realise I was being a burden.
