Ive learnt I'm about 40% council after seeing several of my possessions, lifestyle and habits listed on this thread.
A bit disappointing really as I've always strived to appear at least 70%.

It is quite amusing. Being associated with living in a council house has really boiled some peoples piss even if it's been based on an obviously silly reason for being council.

We're not all Stella drinking, samba wearing, focus RS driving chavs lol

I was brought up in a council house which had a cracked window in the front door for oooh about for ever, plus there was never a light bulb in the downstairs bog.

This is a pet peeve of mine (I should get out more), I've never seen someone ever pull it off, ever.

most of you will be enjoying your freedom of speech on here thanks to an awful lot of Council house lads who gave their lives in two world wars.
some very funny posts but some very cringeworthy one's also

I hadn't thought of that, but it's a good one.

You got a problem with 100m drive, no tarmac or concrete thank you we like to hear the gravel under the tyres, entered between 8 feet tall brick pillars, house detached of course, built in local stone standing in just under an acre, 3 en-suite shower rooms and another bathroom then? oh and the 6 acres attached for the horses? triple garage is attached though, what a bummer!
Oooh! Get her!
6 acres? Peasant!

What can I say? I have a washing up bowl.
I bought a Vienetta from Lidl tonight whilst wearing rubber soles shoes and driving a dark blue Scenic. I defrosted it in my washing up bowl. I've just updated my Facebook status accordingly.

I reckon this thread has gone a bit too far now. Some posts are just plain offensive imho

There's got to be people reading this that are in the firing line and probably feeling a little upset.
I don't think cahncil folk post on PH, do they? Surely they're too busy on Mumsnet or selling dawgs? At least when they're not playing ITV catchup.

I had a cigarette near a Tesco about an hour ago. Maybe we should be friends? You can have a lift in my Ford Transit.

Indeed. rolleyes

Some of the suggestions in this thread have been ridiculous. As mentioned earlier it has gone from 'things that are council' to 'things I don't like'. Now probably more accurately it has descended to: 'things I can suggest in an attempt to try to present myself as better than other'. I'm sure part of it is also simple ignorance as evidenced above.

Plenty of times actually. And I still stand by my point.. not sure how being Italian makes this any better.

Yeah. Like that'd be well wicked. I'll wear my best UGG boots and like, make sure I'm not hanging or nuttin.

I feel one is actually far too to be Council having perused this thread.

So Pie Key is censored, yet not Council. I feel victimised.

Oh come off it, the Duchess of Cambridge felt a bit council after reading this whole thread.

I do think it jumped the shark a few pages back though and should probably be left to die quietly.
