I have just sadly noted someone on my road taking a home delivery from the 'Asda' chain of supermarketsrolleyes rather than from the nice people at Ocado. Do you think this will have a deleterious effect on property prices in the area and do you also think it would be a good idea for the more demographically challenged supermarkets to use a fleet of unmarked vehicles when delivering to 'nice' areas?

Just have a Prole waiting with a stinger at the top of your road to disable any unwanted vehicles before they enter said area, then dispose of vehicle/occupants in appropriate manner. Whilst your at it have a word with your neighbor who is using said service and advise them that they either cease doing so or face very dire consequences. Failing this move away from the area as it sounds very low rent to me.

We have petitioned both Asda and Tesco to remove our postcode from their online shopping options so it's actually impossible to order food to our street from these places.

The whole street was obviously all in agreement.

We ordered food last night via the internet and it was late, so we had to use a telephone to chase it up. The whole point of ordering on the internet was to avoid interation with people.

That's the last time we left chef have a night off at a weekend.

On my way to work this morning I had to switch off cruise control for a moment when I seen a curiously marked highway maintenance car doing it's best impression of a police car. I was so disgusted I nearly threw my latte at him.

Im off to Zell-am-See for our first wedding anniversary this weekend. I can decide whether I should take my skis or just spend 3 days sitting in the spa.

Just got my feet wet walking back to work through the edges of the floods, fking waterproof boots that apparently arent waterproof if you splash water ontop of them rather than up the sides. FFS, not walking around the office in my socks whilst my feet dry.

On the topic of floods, when walking from the top of the hill where I live to get to the old (and therefore poor end of town) I look over to my right to see a country park completely submerged in water. It looks positively third world. This has a caravan site, where 'that' sort of people go on holiday.

Aren't the peasants working anymore to clean that st up? Why is my view from the hill being blighted by this mess?

I just shelled out a whole £2.99 on ebay for one of those pound-coin token keyrings.

Not half an hour later, I was clearing out an old box of stuff and found 2 of the bd things banghead
That's £3 I could have spent on a nice bottle of Cider irked

No, all the kit lockers in the science labs are coin operated and I usually forget to make sure I've going some pound coins in my wallet. Sadly I dont have the butler staff with me at uni to sort it for me either....

£3 would buy a very nice bottle of Gwynt y Draig Gold Medal scrumpy from the local specialist cider boutique smile

The hire car I have for my business trip around Czech Republic/Poland/Germany doesn't have air conditioning.

Okay, it's February, but still - it's the principle of the thing frown

What has the world come to when you share lockers?

When I did my degrees (2x different universities) we all had our own lockers. I was disgusted that I didn't have my own lab though
