Yup cant even move on the a6 when we tried just after six, lots of traffic not going anywhere with several parked at jaunty angles across the carriageways. Met office says we could get 15cm, the rate its coming at I wouldn't be at all surprised if we got more.Shaw Tarse said:

If its right there is a gritter stuck on Shirley hollow towards Derby.

You've got more chance of seeing snow than your friends in West London. The cold in the front itself is creating the snow, not the classic wet air bumps into cold, dry air scenario. It's quite marginal,,but can produce lots of snow
