This still makes me laugh ..
I don’t like geographical names, like Brooklyn.

She's pure poison.
She is just the other side of the coin. There is equal poison on both sides of that particular coin, not a currency I wish to have in my hand.Whichever side you fall on, there are extremists. Hopkins would probably say she was a Conservative voter, but her views do not align with any of the Tories I know.
She is a nasty piece of work and seems to revel in it, God knows why after publically being taken to the cleaners by Jack Monroe.

I thought this too - who is on the other side of the coin from Katie Hopkins? Any examples?
Shall we start with those wishing death by COVID upon others ?...or Owen Jones, a sower of division, a user and exploiter of the same type of bile dressed up in different colours. There are purveyors of bile on all sides, they promote themselves to the gullible as a voice of reason, they are not, they are all a cancer on the system and exist for themselves alone.

Owen Jones is a massive tosser, but he's not remotely comparable to Hopkins.
From Wikipedia:Owen Peter Jones is a left-wing British newspaper columnist, political commentator, journalist, and Labour Party activist.
Katie Olivia Hopkins is an English media personality, columnist, social commentator, and former businesswoman.
I am not sure why they don't mention her political leanings, but if they did those Bio's are not massively dissimilar apart from the fact she has run business's.
Owen is a divisive rabble rouser but Hopkins is a whole other level.
I think she just can’t help herself. I used to listen to her when she had the LBC show and she was always entertaining and reasonably balanced up to a point. But I think just ends up going too far to generate the clicks and controversy and gets herself into trouble. It’s like some sort of social media Tourette’s. She reaps what she sows.

I have seen some of her recent video's (she is in the states , supporting Trump) and she is not saying much that anyone could find offensive unless they are very easily triggered. She won’t say anything offensive....until she does. That was my point really. If she could reel herself in she would still have all the mainstream gigs she has lost in recent years. limpsfield said:

Just because her words exceed some "accepted limit" just demonstrates Owen Jones is a little more media aware nothing else. Division and angst is the reason for both their being. There are many who regard Owen Jones as equally repulsive for very good reasons.I think she just can’t help herself. Seriously? You think Owen Jones is as divisive as Katie Hopkins? El stovey said:

Multiple ways of reading that - he's divisive in that his opinions divide people. Labour folks tend to like him, Conservative not so much. Brexiteers don't like him much either. The Hopkins creature is also divisive in that way, in that her opinions tend to attract either strong agreement or total rejection. I can't find a polite way of describing her fans, so I won't.He's also divisive in that he promotes an "us and them" view of the world - as does she - but his "us" is the proles, and his "them" is big business and the very wealthy, while her "them" is ethnic and religious minorities, the "undeserving" poor, refugees and asylum seekers and anyone else she can turn the hatred of the mob on.
I don't think these things are morally equivalent. I think Jones is a well-meaning idiot. I don't think she means well.
