It caused never ending hilarity when my 11 yr old pupils were studying the Solar System. Carefully crafted questions along the lines of 'Why can't we see Uranus?' 'Is Uranus surrounded by gas?' or 'Is Uranus really big sir?' went on all week.
My attempt to encourage the American pronunciation was howled down - 'But you always say the Americans are stupid for saying Aluminum'...

In Missouri sits the Uranus Fudge Factory (" The best fudge comes from Uranus")...and their newspaper:

I like the way she still holds on to her trolley
She could very well have been killed if the garment had become unhooked when the roller shutter was briefly lowered. It would have been a piledriver to die for - or from.
That's what I was thinking.... very funny, but could have turned quite nasty.
But, she will be able to dine out on that forever... She will probably be on some obscure programme in about ten years.
"Yes... I Am the rollershutter lady".

I suspect attempting to do [2] after doing [1] would end quite badly for you, unless you want the bottom of your own fridge covered in your own piss.
