Power back on - and the fuse box had tripped too. Scary stuff.

Daughter wet the bed, dog was distraught.

One cat missing...

Just walked the dog in what I thought was a break in the rain. It pissed down, although it was like a warm shower smile

And what a bloody storm the Berks one is!!! It's a cracker! Lightening every 5 seconds or so for the last half an hour. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the worst electrical storm I've been in.

yes Although as with Puggit, running around the house sorting our scared children and dogs also makes them a bit of a PITA.

I have absolutely no idea how my son slept through that. I also have no idea how I'll remain awake for the England game hehe

That bloody storm woke me up. Having said that, the lightening forks were great to watch while catching up on my photography skills.

Another week or so of pleasant weather, but nothing hot. The centre of the high pressure stays west of Ireland, bringing in cooler air from the North Sea for the next week.

I actually don't use any wather sites or apps anymore. You are about 3000% more accurate.

Thankings.

Difficult to say - there are some tentative signs of a breakdown of the high pressure, from the north (never pleasant). At this stage I'd err with a forecast of this not entirely unpleasant weather, but it's far from certain.

You lot cannot complain! The last few days we've been getting a bit of snow here, even at sea level, :O It's all this global warming I tell you! On the other hand it has meant someone unhappy about the snow in summer was able to make this picture, hehe
