It was my alternative "stage name" in my old band, I thought the cheese related moniker was funny at the time...

To be factually correct I should be "paulnorwich" but where's the fun in that?

I'm an alien but only the insane/dogs and ghosts recognise the fact. How many clues do I have to give?

And I'm not really called dave but planetX55sqarg£ doesn't scan very well.

I'm from Wolverhampton and have moved around a fair bit and it is also a bit similar to the football team I support. In truth I only used it because I couldn't think of anything decent to call myself and didn't think I'd end up posting much

Can't think of anything better though (not that I've tried too hard, to be fair.)

Same here, but with the re-runs in the 80's.

I could have been Peter Perfect but then the bad guys are always more fun.

From the book by Iain Banks, The Excession, a super intelligent being that is sent to montior an already highly advanced human race, it concludes that humans still aren't ready for contact.

I used to use just plain 'Excession', but the caliber of people and posting here led me to believe I should add 'The' - to give it a bit more weight.

Excession.... It's a good word, and it serves to remind me just how much better I am than everyone else....

Intrestingleee... if you take all the letters in 'mybrainhurts' jumble them around a bit, add some, take some away... it spells 'iluvprescott'

I've told a few people this but basically:

Cousin liked penguins so chose that as her email, I liked polarbears so thought of polarbert as my first email when we got internet. Never been bothered to think up anything new so its stuck.

Mine's simply an anagram of my first and last names.
As I'm into sci-fi and science/technology generally, I thought it was pretty cool.
