People try to give me those after I hand them a wad of £50 notes to pay for my coffee. Never did work out why....

This is a great thread, but I fear if I were to post my 'issues' I'd be thrown straight into the 'Cringe' thread (and promptly vilified in the many 'My Missus was Shagging Someone Else' threads)
But here's one... I hate my living room curtains, but I've spent all my Living Room Curtains money on Scalextrics : (

I've just had leaflet showing offers at the 'Lidl' super market wedged in my letter box. Luckily it didn't fall onto the carpet so I pushed it back outside with a stick, where I pray the wind will blow it away. An upgrade to my perimeter defenses is called for I fear, that was a bit too close for comfort.

My god man! You live near a Lidl? Should you even be on this thread?Blib said:

I have been told you can see the conurbation where this establishment is located if you stand on the roof of the North wing. The fault lies, I believe, with the work ethic of the Eastern European pamphleteers, who are determined to leave no property unsullied, with promises of 25% off, half price and something referred to as BOGOF, whatever that may be.Wife went shopping this morning, I recall telling her explicitly to get me 6 bottles of "Spitfire". She came home with 6 cans of "Red Speckled Hen" because Waitrose apparently have sold out.
Cans?...I mean ffs, ...cans??...blinking flip woman, get a grip. I will, of course, be reprimanding her severely.
However, at this point I am absolutely apoplectic with rage.

The sherbet in my Sherbet Fountain had clumped together and the licorice straw was not strong enough to break the clumps up. No problem I'll just squeeze the tube like I used to but no, they're not pliable cardboard anymore they're bloody hard plastic!
I had to resort to going to the kitchen to get a narrow gauge spoon to break up the sugary goodness and then use the smaller-and-thinner-than-they-used-to-be licorice straw to eat. Took the edge off the joy I can tell you.

I've been a Consultant Engineer to a German company covering North America and india for them the last 10 years.
They just stopped business class flights so last week I had to do economy from Frankfurt to Dubai on to Hyderabad.
Tomorrow is Hyderabad to Dubai to Frankfurt followed by Frankfurt Washington on Monday.
Problem 1 no upgrade seats available with points !!!!
Problem 2 may not make Senator class this year which would stop me getting my 10 years lifetime card

Sky has changed the TV guide menu.
Before one button But if you just pres backup out brings you the tv guideot the menu. Backup made it go away.
Now TV guide button gets another menu and you need to press the button again.
But you have to press back up 5 time to make it go away . But because it's slow you press back up again and the menu comes back
Meaning two button presses have become 12
Somebody needs to die.

The button that says "tv guide" no longer brings the tv guide. But if you just press backup it brings you the tv guide? What utter tool at sky thought this would be a good idea?
